A beautiful
dual purpose bird! Their plumage is shiny black with a purple-greenish sheen.
Even though these are large birds, they have a good brown egg laying record
- up to 300 eggs per year! Hens are early maturing; usually producing eggs
within 5 to 6 months.
Besides being fine egg layers, these birds also make good fryers. |
